1. Who we are

2. What we collect

When you use our contact form: your name, email address, company (optional) and message. When you use Help me choose: the options you pick and what you type. We do not store these, and they are not linked to your name or email unless you choose to send the summary to us. When you visit the site: basic technical logs kept by our hosting provider for security.

3. Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver our services. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (responding to enquiries) or steps before entering a contract.

4. Who we share it with

Our hosting and email providers only: Cloudflare (website and form handling) and [EMAIL PROVIDER]. To catch typing mistakes, the contact form checks that the part of your email address after the @ can receive email, using Cloudflare's DNS service; the rest of your address is not shared. Help me choose sends your answers to Anthropic, our AI provider, to produce the suggestion; under Anthropic's commercial terms it does not use them to train its models, and may keep them for a short period for safety and abuse monitoring. We never sell your data or use it for marketing without your consent.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to [12 MONTHS]. Client records: as long as needed for the contract and legal obligations.

6. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the UK, under appropriate safeguards. For example, Anthropic (Help me choose) processes data in the United States.

7. Your rights

Access, correction, deletion, objection and restriction. Contact us at info@partedwaves.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

We will update this notice if how we use your data changes.
